Community Guidelines
On Asoria, people meet first through their personas, then face to face. These rules exist so everyone feels safe; they are part of the Terms of Use and apply everywhere in the app.
What we expect
- Be yourself. Use your own name and your own story. Your persona is born from what you write; don't describe someone else's life.
- Be respectful. Accept no for an answer. Don't keep pressing someone who doesn't reply.
- Protect other people's information. Don't share anyone's phone number, address, photo or private conversation without their permission.
- Be careful when meeting. Meet at the event venue or in busy places; leave if you don't feel safe.
What is prohibited
- Harassment, bullying, threats, incitement to violence and persistent unwanted contact.
- Hate speech and discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or similar characteristics.
- Sexual content, nudity, sexual propositions and sexual photos.
- Accounts of people under 18 or any content targeting minors.
- Fake identities, impersonation, misleading information.
- Fraud, asking for money or investments, pyramid and similar schemes.
- Spam, mass messaging, unsolicited advertising and sales.
- Drugs, weapons and any illegal goods or services.
- Content that encourages harming yourself or others.
- Content that infringes others' copyright or trademarks.
- Using the Service with automated tools, scraping data or trying to bypass security.
How we moderate
- Automatic checks: messages are checked automatically for insults, harassment, sexual content and threats before they are sent. Clear violations are not sent; questionable content is flagged for review.
- Report: every chat's ⋯ menu has Report. You choose a reason and can add a note; the person you report isn't told. Our team reviews reports within 24 hours and acts on them.
- Block: with Block in the same menu, the person can no longer see you or write to you, and you won't be matched again. They aren't notified.
- Website: Asoria's replies on oriaverse.com also pass through an automatic safety filter.
When the rules are broken
We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Depending on how serious the violation is, we apply one or more of the following:
- removing the content or not sending it,
- a warning,
- removal from an event or restricted features,
- temporary suspension of the account,
- permanent closure of the account and blocking new accounts.
Where we believe a child or someone's life is in danger, we notify the competent authorities. If you think a decision was wrong, you can appeal by writing to help@oriaverse.com.
Emergencies
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, first call 112 (or your local emergency number). Then report the user in the app or write to us: help@oriaverse.com.
